Oatmeal Toffee Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup packed, brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 3/4 cups toffee bits, divided
Directions
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour and cinnamon, gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in oats and 1 1/3 cups toffee bits (mixture will be stiff). Spread mixture into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately sprinkle remaining toffee bits over surface. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
