Grandma's Rugelach Recipe

Ingredients
  • Dough
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 ounces sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Filling
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup nuts, crushed (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
Cut margarine and butter into flour until pea size. Mix egg and sour cream together & add to flour mixture. Divide dough into 3 parts, put in waxed paper and refrigerate overnight.

Roll dough out in circles onto floured board. add filling. Cut into 16 parts. Roll, crescent style, and bake for 20 minutes.
