Pumpkin Bars 57 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package yellow cake mix, divided (18.25 ounce pkg)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 can pumpkin (16 ounce can)
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Directions
Mix 2/3 C. cake mix with sugar, nuts, and butter; set aside. Blend together remaining cake mix and other ingredients; pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan; sprinkle with reserved topping. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes until done. Cool. Cut into 16-24 bars. Bars freeze well.
