Warm Sweet Basil Sausage Saladini Recipe

  • 1 pound Premio sweet basil sausage - grilled or sauteed till thoroughly cooked and sliced into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 pound broccoli - cut into bite sized pieces and steamed till bright green
  • 1 bulb fennel - slivered
  • 2 yellow tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 pound rotini - al dente, cooked as package directs
  • 1/4 cup basil - fresh and julienned
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons
  • sea salt and red pepper flakes - to taste
  • Assemble all ingredients in large serving bowl.
  • Toss gently.
  • Garnish with lemon slice and basil sprig.
  • Serve immediately.
