Oatmeal Carmelitas 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups margarine, melted
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
  • 1 cup caramel topping
  • 6 tablespoons flour
Directions
Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and margarine to form crumbs. Press half of mixture in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over crust. Mix topping and 6 tablespoons flour and drizzle on. Sprinkle remaining crumbs. Bake 15-20 minutes.
