1926 Girl Scout Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients and chill 2 hours. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown. Cool on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen
