Mixed Nut Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • BARS
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can mixed nuts
  • SYRUP
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 ounces butterscotch chips
Container: 9- x 13-inch baking pan

  • Combine the flour, brown sugar, and butter.
  • Press the mixture into a 9- x 13-inch baking pan and bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes.
  • Cool for 10 minutes; then pour on a can of your favorite mixed nuts.
SYRUP
  • Melt the syrup ingredients over low heat in a saucepan on the stovetop or melt in a bowl in the microwave.
  • Pour the syrup mixture over the mixed nuts and crust.
  • Bake another 10 minutes.
  • Cool and slice.
