Peanut Brittle 55 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Spanish peanuts
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
In microwave safe bowl stir peanuts, sugar, syrup, and salt. Cook 8 minutes on medium high. Stir and put in microwave for 4 minutes on medium high. Stir in butter and vanilla and put in microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy. Pour into greased pan. When cooled break into pieces.
