Granola Bars 10 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
Directions
Grease 13 X 9 inch pan

In large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar and butter until light/fluffy. Add honey, vanilla and egg; mix well. Gradually blend in flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt at low speed. By hand, stir in remaining ingredients.

Press firmly in bottom of prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or unteil edges are light golden brown and center appears set.

Cool and cut into bars
