Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars Recipe

  • 1 tube crescent rolls (8 ounce tube)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup pecan halves or chopped nuts
  • 1 package chocolate chips (6 ounce pkg)
Press crescent rolls into a ungreased 10X15 jelly roll pan. Combine sugar and butter and boil for 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Slightly swirl pieces, leaving some whole. Cool. Cut into bars.
