Oreo Truffles 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (1 lb pkg)
  • 1 pound milk or dark chocolate
  • 1/2 pound white chocolate
Directions
Grind oreos in food processor into a fine powder. Blend cookie powder and cream cheese with mixer until thoroughly mixed. Roll into small balls and place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Chill for 45 minutes.

Line 2 cookie sheets with wax paper. In double boiler melt chocolate. Dip Oreo balls into chocolate, coat thoroughly. Remove balls from chocolate with slotted spoon or fork and let excess drip off then place on wax paper.

In separate double boiler melt white chocolate. Using a fork, drizzle white chocolate over chocolate covered Oreo balls. Let cool. Store in refrigerator in air tight container.
