Spanish Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup shortening, (1/2 cup oleo & 1/2 Crisco)
  • 1 cup corn flakes
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 1/3 cups Spanish peanuts
Directions
in mixer beat sugars and shortening; then add eggs. Mix well. By hand add flour, then rest of ingredients. Bake at 350° on a greased cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or until done.
