Peanut Brittle 4 Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup raw peanuts
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Combine sugar, corn syrup and peanuts in large glass microwavable bowl. Cook in microwave uncovered on full power for 6-7 minutes. Stir after 3 minutes of cooking time. After the 6-7 minutes add vanilla, salt, and butter. Cook uncovered, on full powder for 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 minutes. Stir in baking soda. Pour into lightly greased 15 1/2 by 12 inch baking sheet. Cool 30 minutes, break into pieces. Makes about a pound of brittle.
