Ingredients
  • 16 cups popped corn (1 cup unpopped corn)
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chile pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • peanuts (optional)

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan, pour in popcorn, and shake the pan occasionally while popped to ensure that the corn doesn't burn.
  • In a large bowl, combine popcorn, peanuts (optional), and shredded cheese.
  • Over medium heat, melt butter. Add spices to the melted butter and stir well. Pour butter mixture over popcorn and toss.
  • Can be served warm or cold.
