Seven Layer Bean Dip Recipe

A great party dip made of seven layers for loads of flavor. Served with tortilla chips.

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 can bean dip
  • 2 avocados, mashed
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 8 ounces Sour Cream
  • 1 package taco mix
  • 1 cup onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 package sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 tomatoes, peeled & chopped (medium)
Container: Large glass dish

  • Mix refried beans and bean dip together. Spread on the bottom of a large glass dish.
  • Peel and mash the avocados; mix with the mayonnaise. Spread over the bean layer.
  • Mix sour cream and taco mix together; spread over the avocado layer.
  • Layer the remaining ingredients in the following order: onions, olives, cheese, and tomatoes.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.

"We had a fantasy football party this weekend and I made this for it. I thought it was ok but not my favorite. I thought it seemed like it needed something more but I had a lot of people tell me they really liked it and it was all gone at the end of the night so I guess it must have been ok."
