Orange Yam Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 48 ounces canned yams, drained
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (large)
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon mace
  • 3/4 cup Chopped Pecans
Directions
Arrange 1/2 of the yams in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread 1/2 of the orange slices over the yams and repeat the layers. Combine remaining ingredients, except nuts, and pour evenly over the casserole. Sprinkle pecans evenly over the dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.
