Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes Recipe

You'll never make creamier potatoes than this recipe right here. The garlic doesn't overpower. For an even creamier side dish, try heating the half 'n half over low heat before adding to the potatoes.

  • 4 pounds potatoes
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup half 'n half
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chives, chopped
Boil potatoes and garlic in water until tender; drain and mash.

Add butter and half 'n half (pour in gradually for proper consistency), sour cream and chopped chives.
