Cranberry Pretzel Salad 2 Recipe

  • 1 package small pretzels, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 - 3 ounce pkgs cranberry jello
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 package whipped topping (8 ounce pkg)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 can whole cranberries or 1 pkg frozen berries
Heat oven to 350°. Mix crushed pretzels with 1-2 C. sugar and 1/4 C. melted butter. Pat in 9x13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Dissolve jello in water and add the fruit. Let the mixture congeal slightly in the refrigerator while you mix the softened cream cheese with 1 C. sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzels. Chill until set.
