Pasta Fajoli Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 3 ribs celery, cooked
  • 2 gloves Garlic
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained (14 ounce cans)
  • 1 can kidney beans (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can Great Northern Beans (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can V8 juice (12 ounce can)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 pound ditalini pasta
Directions
Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain. Simmer first 5 ingredients together for 10 minutes. Add all ingredients except pasta and simmer for 1 hour. Cook pasta separately. Add to soup and simmer 10 minutes.
