Chinese Chicken Salad 11 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 package ramen noodles, oriental flavor (3 ounce pkg)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable or sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and cut up
  • 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts, optional
  • 4 green onions, sliced (medium)
  • 1 package coleslaw mix (16 ounce bag)
  • 1 can mandarins, drained (11 ounce can)
Directions
Melt butter in 10 inch skillet over medium heat. Stir in ramen seasoning packet. Break noodles in bite size pieces into skillet. Stir in butter mixture. Cook noodles 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sesame seed. Cook about 2 minutes longer, stirring occasionally until noodles are brown. Remove from heat. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and pepper in bowl. Add to noodle mixture and remaining ingredients. Toss to coat.
