Clam Chowder 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cans minced Clams (6 1/2 ounce cans)
  • 1 cup Onions, chopped fine
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • White Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 quart half and half
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Pepper to taste
Directions
Drain juice from clams and pour juice over the vegetables with enough water to barely cover. Simmer until potatoes are tender (about 20 minutes).

Make white sauce, add vegetables with clams and heat through. Heat DO NOT BOIL. Serves 8
