300 Meat Balls LUMC Salad Luncheon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 20 pounds hamburger (ground chuck)
  • 15 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 36 ounces evaporated milk
  • 7 packages onion soup mix
  • BBQ SAUCE
  • 64 ounces ketchup
  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 9 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 40 ounces Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce
  • 18 ounces KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce (Hickory Brown sugar)
  • 18 ounces original Open Pit BBQ sauce
Directions
Mix milk, soup and worcestershire sauce together. Divide hamburger into two parts. Mix half of milk mixture into each batch. Mix each batch well and put all 20 lbs. together. Roll into balls, place on sprayed broiler pans and broil for 8 minutes without turning, 5 inches from broiler.

To make sauce, mix ketchup, brown sugar and worcestershire sauce together. Then add the barbeque sauces and simmer 3-4 hours for best flavor. Should have about two quarts left over. Pour into quart jars when warm and it should seal for use within 6 months or so. Store in the refrigerator.
