Football Cheeseball Recipe

Either on game day or any time you need to bring an appetizer, this cheeseball is always a hit. With taco seasoning mixed right in, it's a great and easy appetizer to bring anywhere.

  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 packet taco seasoning (1.25 ounce pkg)

In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, onion, Worcestershire Sauce and taco seasoning. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Roll into remaining shredded cheese. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve with an assortment of crackers or veggies.

**NOTE: For a fun football shape, instead of rolling it into a ball, shape into a football shape. Arrange American cheese pieces like laces on top of the football.
