A variety of melon that is oblong shaped and somewhat small in size. This melon has a bright yellow outer skin with white ribs covering a firm textured cream-colored flesh. Similar to a cantaloupe in taste, the firm textured meat of this melon provides a sweet delicate flavor. Yellow melons are also referred to as dua gan and Korean melons.
