Juice extracted from fresh tomatoes by cooking them and then exposing the heated tomatoes to a process that separates the skins and seeds from the juice. The juice is then bottled or canned and can be salted or unsalted, and at times other seasonings are added. Tomato juice is served as a beverage or can be added to dishes for flavoring.
