The green flesh kiwi is an egg-sized berry with a brown, furry skin and green flesh. It is also known as Chinese gooseberry. Its flavor resembles berries and melons. They should be peeled before eating.

Baby kiwi is a cousin to the kiwi and when cut open it is very similar. The baby kiwi has a smooth edible green skin and a much sweeter flavor. They have a limited season and a short shelf-life of 7 to 14 days from harvest.
