A type of Finnish crispbread that is formed into large, thin, brittle rounds with a hole in the center. The bread has the appearance of a large, flattened donut. Knackebrod is prepared with rye and corn flour, has a crunchy texture, and a delicious grainy flavor that is not as sweet as its Swedish counterpart, knackerbrod, made with oatmeal, butter, and sugar.
