Hi! This is Laurie from RecipeTips.com, and today we are going to be roasting garlic. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, peel the papery skin from the bulb of garlic. Next, you want to cut a quarter inch off the top of the garlic bulb. Place the bulb of garlic on a piece of aluminum foil that is big enough to wrap the bulb in. And next, just drizzle it with a little bit of olive oil or vegetable oil. Wrap the aluminum foil tightly around the bulb of garlic, and it is ready for the oven. Place the bulb in the center rack of your preheated oven for approximately two hours or until the cloves have softened. To check to see if the garlic is properly roasted, unwrap it from the aluminum foil, and just poke it with a fork to make sure it is soft. For more information on garlic, visit RecipeTips.com.
