"Covers it all. Water at the bottom and covered cooking makes any ham moist."

"Great information, especially for someone that hasn't cooked a ham before. It helped me out this Easter when I cooked my first ham. It turned out great."

"After reading over this article I realized that cooking a ham to the proper temperature is pretty important to the best results so I went out and bought an instant read thermometer. I used it this weekend when I baked a ham for Sunday dinner and watched the temperature closely. It turned out so moist and delicious. Well worth getting the thermometer!"

"I didn't realize it made a difference as to the type of ham you were roasting as to how you were to cooking it. Good to know for the future. I will definitely keep this info in my favorites."

"I agree with Savory about the info on spiral hams. I also noticed that this article suggests cooking it at 275 degrees, which I have always cooked them at 350 degrees. That might help keep it moister also."

"Great info on baking ham. I appreciate the information on cooking a spiral ham. I am always afraid it will dry out since it is already sliced. I never thought of wrapping it in foil. I will have to try this with our Christmas ham."
