The yeast cake equivalents are as follows: .06 oz. cake is equal to 1/4 oz. pkg. dry and 2 oz. cake is equal to 3 (1/4 oz.) pkgs. dry. For more ingredient equivalents check out our handy Equivalents Chart at the following address: http://www.recipetips.com/kitchen-tips/t--652/ingredients-a-to-c.asp

I just wanted to say thank you for being more specific with the ingredient amounts. I appreciate that.
Can you be more specific with some of your recipes for example: Salted Nut Roll Bars recipe - 4 butter or margarine, is this 4 Tablespoons, 4 Cups or what.
Could you use beef instead?
How big a "package of Velveeta Cheese" do you add?
