Melting Moments (No Eggs) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup margarine, butter or Crisco
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • FROSTING:
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
Cream margarine and powdered sugar. Add cornstarch and flour. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.

NOTE: Make them small; a melon baller works great.

For frosting, mix margarine, powdered sugar, milk and almond extract to make frosting. Cool cookies and then frost.
