Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup cooking oil (vegetable oil)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 1/2 to 5 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Cream sugar, butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Blend in flour, soda, tartar, and salt.
Roll dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with bottom of a drinking glass that has been dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375° F for 8 to 10 minutes.
