For Goodness Sake Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 beet (large)
  • 1 handful fresh kale (rinsed)
  • optional additions
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cup favorite frozen fruit
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cup almond milk, soy milk, or fruit juice
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly, until smooth. Amount of fruit of liquid may be altered according to consistency preference.

This is a great way to pack three servings of fruits and vegetables into a sweet and filling breakfast or snack drink. If blended thoroughly, the kale in undetectable!
