Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos Recipe

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz. pkg)
  • 1 shredded parmesan cheese (1 cup 4 ounce )
  • 22 jalepeno peppers, halved lengthwise & seeded (large)
Cook sausage in skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, drain.

Mix with cream cheese and parmesan cheese. Spoon about 1 T. into each pepper half. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake uncovered 15-20 minutes at 425 or until lightly browned and bubbly. Yield 44 appetizers.

Hint: Wear gloves when cleaning peppers and avoid touching your eyes.
