Pepperoni Bread 25 Recipe

  • 2 loaves frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 8 ounces pepperoni (or turkey pepperoni)
  • 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Thaw bread on a baking sheet.

When completely thawed, pat or roll each into a large rectangle.

Mix eggs together in a bowl and stir in seasonings and Parmesan cheese. Spread egg mixture on rolled out bread dough.

Cover with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, to within 1/2 inch of sides.

Roll dough enclosing cheese and pepperoni tucking the ends under.

Place on greased sheet seam side down. May put egg wash on top for browning. Bake until deep golden brown approximately 30 minutes at 350°.

Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
