Day 1

Dinner:

Hobo Dinner

hobo dinner

Brings back memories of camping when I was a kid. Everybody got to create their own packet. We cooked them in the campfire, but a grill or the oven works just as good.

campfire apple pies

Apple pie filling is always good, but try it with the kind you like best. Kids love these, but be careful to not burn them!

Day 2

Perfect side dish to jazz up any meal. Perfect to make in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
Grilled Asparagus

grilled asparagus

The next time you plan on serving asparagus with grilled meat, fish, or poultry, consider grilling the asparagus as well. Grilling gives the flavor of asparagus an added dimension that can't be matched with any other cooking method.

peanut butter s'more

Here's a twist on a campfire treat! Or instead of the peanut butter cup, use other candy bar favorites. Caramello is one of my mom's favorites!

Bacon makes everything better, right? And these burgers are no exception! The bacon keeps the burger moist and adds great flavor.
