Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Recipe

  • 4 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1/4 cup peanuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Cut chicken into strips. Combine pretzels, peanuts and red pepper flakes in a food processor. Process until finely crushed. Pour into a shallow dish. Dip chicken into egg; next, dredge into pretzel mix until entirely covered. Place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all pieces of chicken. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until no longer pink.
Finely crushed pretzels make a crunchy coating for your chicken breasts. Perfect to dip into your favorite sauce.
