Ingredients
1 pound beef (Sirloin or other steak beef)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon salt
4 scallions coarsely chopped (Medium)
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
2 tablespoons water, rice wine or white wine
Directions
Cut the beef into thin slices about 3" by 1/8" thick (this can be done at the butcher shop). If doing at home, freeze the beef to make it easier. Marinate the beef in the remaining ingredients for 2 hours or more. Traditionally this meat is broiled but it can also be sautéed in a frying pan.
