Grandma's Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cake
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Mini-chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Mix cake ingredients together and fold in apples. Pour in a 9x13" greased and floured pan. Sprinkle topping on the top of cake and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
