FRIED APPLE PIES 6 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 - 10 ounce cans Hungry Jack biscuits
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 bags DelMonte dried apples
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, to taste
Directions
With enough water to cover the apples in a sauce pan, cook until apples are tender, about 30 min. Drain excess water. Add sugar to taste. Add cinnamon to taste. Mash with potato masher until apples are in small pieces. Roll out each biscuit round on a floured surface. Put about 1 T. apples on one half of the circle. Fold other half of circle over the apples and seal edges by pressing with a fork. Fry pies in Crisco until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
