3 bags dried apples
2 cans flaky buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 teaspoons apple pie spice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Directions
Place apples in large pot with enough water that they float. Add sugars, butter, spice and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until tender, 45 min - 1 hour. Mix cornstarch in cold water stir into apples. When they thicken, remove from heat and refrigerate until cold. Roll biscuits out into 6" circles. Place cold apples on one side of biscuit.
