Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 C sugar, 1 tsp, cinnamon.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 C sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave 30 seconds then use a mixer until smooth.
Roll out one package of the crescent rolls in a 9 X 13 pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top. Roll out 2nd pkg of rolls onto the top(tricky part). Pour melted butter on top layer, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over the top.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Can be served warm, room temp. or cold. Also good with caramel sauce drizzled over the top.
