Grandma's Sugar Cookies 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cookies
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup softened oleo, margarine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 package powdered sugar
  • 1/2 stick softened oleo, margarine
  • 4 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
For cookies, mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla, then add remaining ingredients and mix. Roll out on floured surface and use favorite cookie cutters. Bake 350° oven about 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack and frost. For frosting, mix all ingredients together until creamy.
