Candied Walnuts 9 Recipe

  • 1 egg white (large)
  • 10 ounces walnut halves and pieces (2 1/2 cup)
  • 3/4 cup Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
Preheat oven to 325°. Whisk the egg whites until completely foamy and no liquid remains. Fold in the walnuts and brown sugar. Arrange onto greased baking sheet. Bake until the egg white mixture is cooked through and the nuts are golden brown, 12-14 minutes stirring once. Cool on a plate to prevent sticking to pan. You can also use pecans. Great in salads.
