Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 2 packages (3 oz) strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 packages strawberries, 10 oz. pkgs

  • Mix pretzels, butter, and sugar together; pat in 9 X 13 pan.
  • Bake 10 min at 350 degrees F; cool in frig.
  • Beat 8 oz cream cheese; add 1 c sugar.
  • Beat well and fold in the Cool Whip.
  • Spread over crumbs and refrigerate.
  • Dissolve 2 pkgs strawberry Jello in 2 cups hot water.
  • Cool the Jello but before it begins to thicken add the strawberries.
  • Chill until syrupy. Pour over cream cheese layer and refrigerate until topping thickens completely.
