Fattigman Recipe

Separate eggs (yolks and whites) beat whites stiff, then beat yolks until quite thick. Combine and beat lightly to mix. Then add sugar, cream, and vanilla. Add salt. Add enough flour for a soft dough. Roll as thin as possible. Cut in diamond shapes and fry in hot fat. Drain on paper towel and dust with powdered sugar.
