Apple Pie in a Jar Recipe

  • 7 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 4 1/2 sugar
  • 1 cornstarch
  • 2 cinnamon
  • 1/4 nutmeg
  • 1 Salt
  • 10 water
  • 3 lemon juice
Fill hot jars with apples with 1 inch head space. Make syrup by combining sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and water. Cook until thick. Add lemon juice. Pour syrup over apples in a jar, leaving 1 inch head space. Adjust lids. Process 20 minutes in water bath.
