Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup oatmeal, quick
  • 1 package chocolate chips (6 ounce pkg)
  • FROSTING:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cream

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar.

Add egg and vanilla.

Beat in peanut butter.

Add flour, salt, baking soda and oatmeal.

Spread in a greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes and spread evenly.

Mix frosting ingredients together until smooth. Drizzle over bars and cool.
