Texas Trash Party Mix Recipe

A tasty snack mix that has a little bit of heat but not enough to keep your hand out of it. Perfect for game day or a weekend gathering.

  • 5 cups Crispix (or variety of Chex brand cereals of your choosing)
  • 3 cups Goldfish Parmesan or Cheddar flavored crackers
  • 2 cups corn chips
  • 3 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt

Preheat oven to 275°.

In a large bowl, combine the cereal, crackers, corn chips, and mixed nuts; set aside.

Mix the butter and remaining 5 ingredients together. Pour over cereal mixture and toss well.

Pour out onto large cookie sheets. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Cool thoroughly. Keeps fresh in tightly closed plastic containers or heavy duty zipped bags.
