Simple Roasted Asparagus Recipe

Keeping it simple, these lightly seasoned asparagus spears are perfect with a simple supper or a fancy one. Don't overcook these so that the asparagus get wimply, just cook until tender.

  • 1 pound fresh, trimmed asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

Wash asparagus. Place asparagus on prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake for about 10 minutes, until crisp tender.
